The political powers that are opposed to our former letters to the editor have threatened the major newspaper that we submitted our observations to and they will no longer print our letters to the editor on certain subjects such as the Whitley County School System. This form of censorship by political power is not acceptable in a free society. Then we turned to other editor of the Corbin newspaper that occasionally printed our letters. But, the new editor was too concerned with falling into disfavor with her publisher for printing controversial letters to the editor.
